Rhonda Kearney, DDS, MS

Dr. Rhonda Kearney opened Henderson Pediatric Dentistry in July 2011 to provide dental care to children in an inviting atmosphere in a community that did not have a pediatric dentist. Dr.Rhonda Kearney is a native of Warrenton, NC who graduated magna cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa Honors from UNC-Greensboro with a BS in Biology and Teacher Certification.  A NC Teaching Fellow, she taught high school biology for three years in the Guilford/Forsyth School System before entering dental school in 2001.  Dr. Rhonda received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree with honors from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  After completion of dental school, she received her certificate in pediatric dentistry and postdoctoral Masters of Science degree at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Her Master’s Thesis earned her the prestigious Leverett Award for outstanding research in Public Health Dentistry.

Dr. Rhonda is Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry.  She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the National Dental Association, the Old North State Dental Society and the Durham Academy of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy.

Outside of pediatric dentistry, Dr. Rhonda enjoys traveling, running, staying active and spending time with her family and friends.
